Tornado Video (well... almost)...

Adding a video below from a few days ago when the tornadoes came through.

This was earlier in the evening when the storm system was just starting to come into our area. We were starting to get the first "cloud trails" which were coming through quickly, and the winds picked up quite a bit as you can see from the Pine Trees swaying. I was standing in the middle of our back yard panning - the Pine Trees are in the neighbor's yard behind us. According to what I got from reports, the nearest tornadoes that day to touch down near us was one 6 miles North of us, and one about 12 miles South of us. Four miles West of us a funnel was spotted, but it never actually touched the ground. Click the arrow to play.

The next morning some kind of weird wind "backlash" happened, where extremely strong winds whipped backwards from East to West. We had consistant winds of 45mph with gusts up to 55mph for several hours that morning. VERY freaky - the Pine trees were making crackling noises and swaying over a lot. I was sure one was going to fall, but none of them did - several in my neighborhood DID fall, though. We got lucky. I don't have video of that - I was trying to get ready for work and calm the dogs and feed them at the same time and getting the camcorder out never was on my mind.
