Thanks to a woman who goes by "harborlady" who is a transplant from NYC who now lives in Charleston, I have a photo of our old house in Kanawha City.

She went by and snapped a shot from the [public] street of it, and I have to say, whoever owns the place now must be very handy fixing places up. This place looks nice! I have to admit, considering how badly West Avenue ran down, and Main Street turned out only "soso" at best, I was happy to see how good the Kanawha City place looks. New, longer porch with railings. Looks like new siding. Cool.
